Only very little is known about the 1947 Shirt, Flying, Heavy. It was issued from shortly after WW2 to the early 1950s. Made from a heavy wool fabric it is more like a jacket than a shirt.
We have recreated the very unique original to every detail. For the fabric we have used a beautiful 650g heavy Italian wool fabric. It has 4 outer pockets and an authenic woven label complete the item.
